Secrets of the Black Book…

Black book (plural black books) noun
Definition: book of phone numbers — a book in which somebody keeps the names and telephone numbers of private friends.
Today, we all hold a black book — otherwise known as a mobile phone. This gadget, which many admit is a necessity, has taken over our lives. We store birthdays, appointments, and other such reminders. Should we happen to lose one, we are devastated and are at a loss, but have we ever thought of what could be done with the information we store in those phones?
I happen to have a memory card in the phone, it also has some files for my school papers, pictures, and some reference materials I carry around. Heaven forbid that it should fall into the wrong hands!
A news article said that even if we do erase the messages and files in the newer mobile phones, there are still some that would be able to restore those files. Yikes! This used to be a problem with old HDDs, but I rarely ever replace an HDD unless it has literally crashed.
