Just read an article on India’s Bangalore changing its name to Bengaluru. Just as Johannesburg Airport is changing its name, India has been trying to capture its native identity by renaming its major cities into something closer to their old names. I wonder when or if the Philippines will be changing its cities names.

I’ve been reading this and hearing this for about a year now, but I’m still wondering if its even realistic. For us non-US denizens, that’s about 42km/liter and Php 1/km. Cheaper than commuting, right? So a full tank would probably get you from Aparri to Jolo and back. Beat that Petron XCS!
