Lunch at Heat in Edsa Shangri-la
April 12th, 2007Food, Life, Musings, Tidbits.
Last Sunday, I had lunch over at Edsa Shangri-la’s Heat restaurant. It was Easter Sunday and the place was jam packed. It seemed liked everyone had the same idea that day.
There were some Asian cuisines(yummy dimsum), seafoods, a sprinkling of Filipino dishes, the dessert stand–where a chef/painter was painting an image of Jesus Christ using chocolate–and the staple Japanese sushi bar. I enjoyed the scallops –they were the size of golf balls! I also made a bee-line for the sushi bar and took my time sampling the Salmon sashimi. An officemate and family friend of mine would have offered to share half of it with me, meaning that we’d take the whole serving plate and finish it off. Hehehe.
Halfway through my dessert, I remembered that I did not take a picture of it. Well, I did enjoy feasting on the lamb chops for Easter!
