Summer Pains and Aches

In my earlier post, I wrote about clothing and how it, or rather the lack of it, is quite a sight during the summer season. Now, my post is on vanity. It seems everyone has this vice in one way or another. Mine would be nails. I keep them relatively long, about 7mm. hehehe. Half of it is practicality, half of it is vanity. I don’t know why but nails or rather (my) fingers look better with a few millimeters of extra nail. Now the next paragraph gets weirder.
A few weeks ago, I saw part of Will Smith’s movie, Hitch. In the background, a guy was getting his back hairs removed–a weird and funny scene–it was made hilarious by the fact that he was shouting as the wax was being peeled back. For guys, imagine tape on your arm hairs being pulled swiftly. Ouchies! He could have tried the Fort Myers laser hair removal that is using the:
The Palomar Pulsed Light System is a fast, permanent and comfortable alternative to shaving, waxing and electrolysis for hair removal. It works by emitting pulses of light at the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and is converted to heat. The heat loosens the hairs and disables the cells responsible for growing new hair.
Sounds complicated, but in short, there’s no pain and that hair ain’t coming back.
Now for those of you who have read this far, you might be wondering why some of the posts are about the above content, they are part of a paid advertisement scheme. In the next few entries there will be a bit more of them, but I’m still trying to reconcile the writing style so that it flows smoothly into a story that I want to tell.
Suggestions are welcome. Meanwhile, I’ll prepare for the incoming criticisms. Until my next post.
