Norway PortI was looking at pictures on my friend’s multiply site and saw this one. Correct me if I’m wrong, this is the port area or marina in Bergen, Norway.

Since the sign caught my attention, I’ve blurred out the rest of the picture. Yes, it says White Lady. Check out the detail below. I am not superstitious or anything, but that boat’s name would definitely make people take a second look. A few buttons later, Google gave me a long list of references to the white lady.

In the Philippines, the haunting of the white lady over at Balete Drive in Quezon City have fueled local folktales and spawned inclusion of clips in movies and in parodies. As a child, we would scare ourselves silly as our school was located just a few blocks away and some of our classmates even live on that street. White Lady

Friends and classmates in school would dread staying late and would taunt other friends who they know would be staying late. Even today, as grown-ups (or so we think), we still have chills down our spine when we pass by Balete drive on a quiet night.

    hi weng,

to see is to believe, and i believe in the existence of white lady. I’ve really seen one dressed in a white long dress inside our room in our old house in Laguna. My other siblings saw her too.
It was fortunate that she wasn’t an angry ghost and never caused us trouble.

He he, Weng :) I actually just noticed the sign when you wrote me the note at the multiply site…but if I am not mistaken, we rode on that boat for a short cruise…don’t worry, we didn’t see any white ladies –only white birds ;) write more blogs, they sure are interesting…
