I did a double take when I saw the article and saw that it was in Rome, one of those cities I’d definitely want to visit again. I checked Google for sites that listed prices for the concert and was astounded at the high (lemme try again, very high!) prices. Those ticket prices are way beyond what an ‘ordinary’ person can afford. At the rate I’m going, thats a few months’ wages without spending for anything else. Would it be cheaper if she comes here instead?

That is truly expensive! Wow! I also love Barbra Streisand but I wouldn’t be able to shell out that much cash (even if I have some) just for a single ticket. That way too expensive!

Yes, Sasha, I’m from the Philippines. I’d really want to watch her concerts, but we usually have concerts here going for $20-$70 or about Php 1,000-3,000. According to that ticket seller, the prices are about 10 times as much and you’re definitely not going alone, so it’ll be so much more!
I paid around 1,200 for Lea’s concert last Feb and that was the PICC already. Andrea Bocelli did one too and ticket prices were at around Php10,000. Gosh, the price of ‘culture’ is really getting high.
