Newbie Errors

I had been wondering why my stats have not been updating itself accurately for the past few days. I found out I had done something terrible-a terrible, terrible thing. Its a terrible thing to lose stats for a few days. What caused it? I changed themes! Arggh! Google’s tracking code was in the template themes so it was no wonder that it went poof when I switched themes. A newbie coding error which won’t be forgotten soon!
I had checked all the other items such as widgets, plugins, alignments, and all those other aesthetic things, but did not get to check the stat tracker code. This goes to my checklist for sure! I don’t know how many of you have encountered the same error or maybe its just me. I won’t soon forget this.

I understand your problem, but I cannot really give you any advice. As far as I know after two years of blogging: There are many more painful mistakes to make!
This makes me wonder if this is somehow connected to why, no matter what I do, I cannot get the screen shot image of my old theme to change over to my new one on MyBlogLog. If you figure out your problem. Let us know!
