Lol, Morgan. Seems like you've fully understood the Filipino people.

I had been wondering why I didn't hear the ‘Prayer for the Rains’ last Sunday, but since it has been raining almost every other day and classes even had to be suspended on some days, people might have second thoughts about praying for even more rain.

For the politicians side, if we all pray as earnestly as we have prayed for the rains, who knows, maybe hail will come down and knock some sense into those politicians.

Weng, Perhaps we should have a 'Prayer for Intelligence' as our government (both parties) seem to lack that which is so necessary to lead our country. Nah, I'm not sure that all the prayers in the world could help the politicians figure things out. Maybe we could do another 'Prayer for the Rains' and make it a 40 day event and only those with common sense would be allowed to board the Ark. What do you think of that?

We had a lot of rain here in Omaha, but it wasn't as out of control as some other parts of the country. It was basically just something nice to watch in the afternoon from the front porch.

The kids definitely liked it.

It made the grass really, really green.
