Trying Out Casual Games

I have been playing a few casual games such as those made by Big Fish Games. I just discovered how addicting they are. A ‘regular’ game would have a tutorial round where they give basic and real-time instructions to learn how to play the game. These games are usually simpler than their full-cd or dvd counterparts. They take a few minutes to download on a high speed connection and are free to play for 60 minutes. if you want to play more, you’d have to but the games at around USD 20 or so.
You’d think they’re cheap at that price, but they are just like pringles. you can’t stop at just one game. So far I’ve tried about 10 or so. I like the puzzle games and those that search for hidden objects. I had thought that these games wouldn’t be so interesting given their limited game play and functionality, but there are many more people playing these games than the one released by major labels.
If games, aren’t your style, head over to celebrity news. I’d still prefer to play the games. ![]()

I have an account with RealArcade. I pay $10 each month and each month I get one free game in addition to playing the demo versions for the 60 minutes. Some of them have unlimited play but then you have to watch an ad after each level.
You are so right that they are addictive! I have spent hours at a time after the kids go to bed playing some of them.
Just so you know, I tagged you in a meme. If you want to participate, the info is in my Aug. 31 post.
